The evening ER route home from the city depends on who turns up. There are two standard buses, one at 5:15 pm and the other at 6 pm. The 5:15 pm will typically split between the Back Door Route and the Highway. The 6 pm will split between the Hills of Death and the Highway. The times and the route map below are for the Hills of Death.

Paths also vary north of Gordon. Those on the highway tend to stick to it and brave Pymble Bridge and Hill. Those on the HoD or BD will typically turn right towards St Ives then come back to Turramurra via Pentecost Avenue.

This is the traditional Captain's Route from the days he used to live in Wahroonga. It is rarely used now that he has moved.
