A day gravel adventure, Moss Vale station to Garrirong station. 110 km "all downhill, and then train home" with some lumps on a way and approximately 1100 m vertical. The intention is to ride the last section on the Seven Miles Beach, on a send. Yes it is doable, but there is always an alternative as mapped. Please note that if we are running out of time, for whatever reasons, the first station on a Sydney Train Network is Bomaderry.
Departure from Wynyard @ 7:12, arrival at Moss Vale 9:55 (2h 43min). Then departure from Garrirong 16:52, arrival at Town Hall 19:12 (2h 20min). This is providing some 6h 30min for the ride, which translates to average 17 km/h. By doing average 20 km/h we will have an hour for a late lunch/dinner.
Sandwiches on a train for breakfast is recommended option, as this will provide more riding time.
