What better way to appreciate that it's not really THAT cold on the north shore than going somewhere even colder.

The legendary winter westerly is on again, pre-empting spring with first leg through the chill of Anangrove followed by a warming climb to Springwood and finally Katooomba. A visit to the 3 sisters to make sure they're still there, then third breakfast in Leura before the exhilarating descent to Penrith. From there we will catch the train to Parramatta (no Tour de San Remo this time) and the cyclepath along the river before the final climb back to Turramurra.
