Sydney Flatlands - ATB training

When: Sat 15 Sep 06:00 AM

Pace:> 25 kph

Riders:Admin, Doc, Flamingo, highlander, Lassie

Description:

Join us for an ATB training run across Sydney flatlands.

Starting at 0600 from the top of KPR we will head out to Castle Hill and join the start of the M7 cycleway.  We'll trundle out to Camden, then Tahmoor and lunch at Thirlmere.

After checking out the train museum, we'll start the return via Oakdale, Camden, then back on the M7.  At the end of the M7 we'll head south on the cycleway to Parramatta, then pick up the Parra River cycleway for the return home.

And what better way to finish a Sydney Flatland run with a grind up KPR to accolades and glory?

It's a training run for those doing the longer ATB jaunts this year.  The pace will be honest, but suitable for the distance.  All up, I reckon it will be circa 240k.
